![]() ![]() The pot roast was soft and tender and the brown gravy was flavorful and scrumptious. And i will tell you that should you decided to order it, S H A R E!!! It was HUGE!! I think I made a fraction of a dent in it. I will tell you I ordered the EPRIAB because it was featured on Food Network. The poutine was good and hot and just delicious. There were cucumbers, red onions, croutons, and cherry tomatoes. The salad had a thick ranch dressing, with a little more mayonnaise used than I am used to, but it was still good. Let me tell you, I got the salad before the poutine and the poutine like 5 minutes before the meal and that was a little disheartening because I didn't get a chance to enjoy either before the main course. I also ordered the English Pot Roast in a bonnet: slow cooked roast, served in a Yorkshire bonnet with sour cream mashed potatoes, carrots and green beans and creamy horseradish on the side, with a side salad. We had a chance to look over the menu as we waited to be seated so I knew for sure I was going to get the classic poutine: fries, cheese curds and brown gravy, when we sat down as my appetizer. We came here for brunch on a Saturday.the wait was about 20 min or so, so we knew the place was good. Easy parking in a nice shopping center with several other restaurants close by. I think most anyone could find something to enjoy here as the menu is diverse. Total for everything including tax but before tip about $40. ![]() This was nice evening and we will be going again soon, since they serve B,L and D daily. For desert we shared a slice of coconut cream pie, it was very good but nothing compares to the pie at Blue Bonnet Cafe, Marble Falls, Tx. Ashley said they weren't told they were coming but they could handle it with no problem. We dodged a bullet by arriving when we did, because about 1/2 way thru our meal an unannounced tour bus arrived with about 45 hungry diners. Portions are large, and in most cases I suspect could be shared. Dinner rolls were hot and right out of the oven. Everything was served at the same and was nice and hot. The wife chose chicken friend chicken without the gravy, also served with veggies and the potato casserole. This was much like a loaded baked potato without the potato skin and it was delicious. I opted for the server recommended cheesy potato casserole. A good mix of beef, rice, onions and spices in a tasty tomato sauce. The cabbage rolls (2) were very good and nice sized. I also had tomato basil soup instead of salad. I ordered the evening blackboard special again - cabbage rolls with choice of potato, veggies and rolls. I opted for the blackboard special "Maple Whiskey Sour" which was ok, but nothing special, wife always has water with lemon. Server Ashley presented the menus and asked for drink order. We were greeted at the door and given seating options. I think we arrived about 6:00 on a weekday, found a parking place close and head inside. So the wife and I headed to MLD, which isn't to far from our home. I'd read the nice reviews and was looking to go somewhere new for dinner. ![]()
